This weekend felt like the first weekend we really celebrated where we live. It was all spontaneous fun and we fell asleep Sunday night saying, "This was the best weekend!" Here is a glimpse at the fun we had! (Click on pics for a better look)
Friday: An evening in downtown Louisville. We ate at the Old Spaghetti Factory, had a carriage ride around downtown, walked down by the Ohio River to see The Belle of Louisville, then took a drive through the rest of downtown to scope out a future boutique walk!
Saturday: Our first drive-in experience. This was fun! We ate food that is NOT good for you, stayed up late, and enjoyed every second of a movie under the stars, in 80 degree weather!! Can't wait for more drive-in fun this summer.
Sunday: Concert in the park w/family. We drove to a park in the Highlands area of Louisville w/The Dimmitt's, enjoyed ice cream, great music, and even a Conga line. Emerson and her cousin Nora were as cute as ever! And to think...these two will grow up with many more memories like this together.
It was great way to kick off a summer weekend. Next weekend is an adults only weekend, as I will get to enjoy my Mother's Day present...so stay tuned for that one.
