Whew! What a month! What a summer! What a life!
It's been crazy busy and we're always on the brink of change (it's this year's theme).
I'm well into my new job, which I couldn't LOVE more. Em starts pre-K next week. Joe is about to take off for another work trip. We're all preparing for another fun filled trip to Florida in a few weeks with all fam. Then when we get back we'll be preparing for the move into our new house! Could we be more blessed? Um nope...absolutely NOT!
I see the economy spiraling downward and I count my lucky stars that we're still thriving! We're well balanced in life and continue to keep our eyes looking ahead on the important things. I'm bound and determined to keep us on that road too. All of the big decisions we've made this year have paid off and I couldn't be more grateful.
Once we move into our house, I'm sure you're going to find my posts become much more frequent and regular. I have lots of ideas, projects, recipes and such to post, but I'm waiting until we move to execute them. So don't give on me!
Here are some pictures that I've taken of our fun little family moments, over the last few weeks.
PS Some books I'm in the middle of include: The E Myth by Michael E. Gerber, Mind in the Making by Ellen Galinsky, and She Walks in Beauty by Caroline Kennedy
Enjoying breakfast @ TOAST. Checking out Em's new school!
Family Sunday @ Heine's. My first day working for Bella Baby Photography!
A sad sad day @Borders Books. Getting my art on w/Em. We love to paint.
I look around and see all that is going in this world and frankly I'm sad to see the state of current affairs around the globe. Times definetly seem uncertain and unstable. But as I look around at these things I find that I'm ever more grateful for my blessings...my friendships, health, family, and the knowledge that these are the things that matter more than anything else.
I just want to tell all my family and friends that I love you so much!
